I am running because Fairfax is my home—the only home my children have ever known. I want to ensure residents are heard, tax dollars are managed responsibly, neighborhoods are safe, schools remain strong, and growth respects our city’s character and green spaces.
I believe residents deserve experienced, independent leadership that asks difficult questions, examines the details, and puts our community’s long-term interests first. This is YOUR city, and YOUR voice matters.
Our schools are in need of necessary repairs and updates and we will have a bond for $220M on the November ballot which we wants voters to say YES to.
We must support our local businesses, not just our restaurants and have a "Shop Local" week, as we did with restaurant week. We need to draw shoppers in to our stores and boutiques and give them a reason to spend the day here.
We cannot continue to say "yes" to every project that is presented. Our spending needs to be reigned in, we need to take a hard look at wants vs. needs, and we need to seek community input on proposed projects and truly hear them out.
